Bidra med feedbackHad a reservation here on a Saturday evening, we followed the host to our table and it was about three meters from the very loud singer. If we had known that there would be live music (only one guy sings to play music on his computer) we would not have made the reservation. Maybe we would have stayed if it wasn't so loud or we had a better table. Why would I pay $40 a plate if I can't even talk to my spouse about the table? We asked for another table, no cubes. I sat down in the Sorrentos completely different menu, so not what we wanted when we made the reservation. Basically olive garden food for $30 per dish. We decided to go. If we had known again that there would be excessively loud live entertainment, we would not have made the booking first (what a $10 no show / cancellation fee is ridiculous) Recommend You do not, unless you like to pay for very expensive foods and not able to hear yourself thinking.
My friends and I often come here, we love the atmosphere and the music! The staff is friendly and accommodating! Taylor was our waiter and he was AWESOME! Funny, attentive and funny. We have dined here last weekend and I was disappointed. The menu often changes which is not bad, but this time around us did not love it. No one ordered apps because we don't like them. We shared some sushi roles that were delish! Our main course was good. Dessert was entertaining to watch, but not the best-dulce de leche Crepes, really were not made with dulce de leche. Again, somewhat disappointed on the menu, but we enjoyed every other company. Some of our friends mentioned the lack of Bourbon selections they had and that it was expensive for moderate Bourbon.
Happened upon this treasure as we drove into town on our anniversary. Live singer amazing food even better!!! Superior service without being smoothered. Pricey but well worth it to make a memory of our special occasion... BTW: They flambe all their deserts and highly recommend the brownie.
Such a nice find in Banner Elk. Great service especially Ally and Rachel. Food and wine just amazing. Our group had a nice evening here with veal, shrimp, and chicken dishes. Recommend.
Not going to take the time to go into too much detail but in general, not what it should be and not quite what we were expecting. Tiny salt and pepper shakers on the table was the 2nd clue. 1st clue was bringing not quite completely cooked bread and calling it a gift from the chef. It was accompanied by a bottle of oil and a bottle of vinegar? mix it yourself if you like, but there wasn?t a dish to mix it in. Cook temps were perfect but overall flavor was lacking on both of our entrees. Credit card fee added on. Not terrible but we won?t return and can?t recommend.
