Bidra med feedbackFantastic food and great service. Had an excellent Ahi Tuna that was delicious! Wonderful place to eat.
Aesthetics is everything you want in a restaurant, it is a beautiful room. However, no thought about acoustics was given. It sounds like a middle school cafeteria. I will not complain about the service, because every restaurant is short occupied and does its best. I had no seafood, so based on the other reviews, that could be the way. The buffalo chicken dive was delicious. Steak is terrible, it looks like they bought it from Walmart in the negotiating department. The Enchiladas were mushy and bland. The burger had no pleasure. You better go to Applebee to be honest, not to mention that Blaze is right above the street and knocks it out of the park every time you are there.
My friends and I ate at Evenrood's last night and we were blown away! We have the Buffalo-Cauliflower and the Spinach and Artichoke-Dip for starters and they were amazing! If you like, you? The Spin Dip was honest, the best I had! For dinner we had the Pasta Primavera (absolutely delicious), the shrimp scampi (so light and tasty), as well as the tuna (which was presented so beautifully)! Our service was fantastic and overall, it was our favorite food during the stay in Bangor!
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner! I got the ahi tuna, which was perfectly seared and tasted amazing. Her lobster alfredo was stuffed with big pieces of lobster. Finished the meal with a sensational creme brulee. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. Can't believe we haven't been here before. But we'll definitely be going back!
It's not good, just skip it. There are a bunch of great places to eat in downtown Bangor, some in the immediate vicinity. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the visual aesthetics are good. The restaurant used to be a bank and they lean into it, including the original bank vault, which is cool. Some of the food looks good, but the taste is bad. The charcuterie board is an excellent example of this. Their menu items are also mislabeled with their Risotto really being paella. I sent it back when it came since it wasn't what I ordered. Their second attempt was a burnt piece of chicken parm that looked and tasted like it came from an elementary school cafeteria. The service was awful with our waitress disappearing for large stretches of time and then doing little to address our disappointment. Avoid this place and treat yourself to a good dinner elsewhere.
