Bidra med feedbackBeautiful room, very good breakfast and a beautiful chefin. central location and rustic brewhouse restaurant.
We were at a day in the brewhouse and I can't understand the reviews here. you wait at the entrance almost ten minutes until someone lets you enter. corona to leave the guests standing in the cold and during this stands personal smoking in the corner. the dining room typical Franconian brewery gasthof. a little loud, but Franconian cosy furnishings. the operation shall be charged. the housebread is excellent and the only reason why there are two stars. eating was absolutely unworthy of this locality. a potato soup that resembles a to liquid potato soup rather than a Franconian soup. tastefully there is still much air up. then a pork carving “as always type” with potato salad, the addition salad must be ordered and paid extra. this court is the classic. but now for a carving, here I expect a freshly prepared carving, which is fried in butterschmalz at such a local place and not too dark fried tk. the potato salad is homemade, but what sugar has lost in it? no salt, no pfeffer. this makes a cook apprentice much better in the 2nd year in the vocational school. so overall, that was nix set six!
Super eating super own beer in many sorts. has unhealthy and shortened with smoke note like smoked speck and so delicious sweet. we are coming back like everyone summer and winter
Despite the day of great competition (fronleichnam) fleet service, fast eating and good beer to travel acceptable.
Centrally located 10 minutes walk from the train station; 5 minutes to the pedestrian area all the sights of Bamberg e.g. Dom, Old Town are easily accessible from here. Ambiente The Brauerei Spezial was first mentioned in 1536 and is the oldest in Bamberg. The name special so is suspected, originates from the expression Spezeln friends who have come together at this place. A petty-bourgeois inn in the old historical robe with a large guestroom for 150 people and 3 for 15 to 40 seats. Old-French cosiness prevails here. All walls are darkly tied and hanging on the walls photos from the past. Here you sit directly at the source of the famous Bamberger Rauchbier speciality. The barley is dried over open beech wood fire and thus obtains the typical aroma, the fine mild smoke taste. Service Nice service, which also offers information about typical local dishes. Food There is a Franconian, bourgeois cuisine, homemade sausages, pork choir and homemade spit roast. The prices for main dishes are from 6, to 15, €, for cold dishes from 4, to 10, €. We chose from the map the fresh pig crust roast with Bamberg Wirsing and Kloß. As a second dish, we were interested in the peddlered pork choke with sauerkraut and pea puree. Both dishes were very good and tasted very well for the smoke beer ordered. Conclusion: Cosy brewery inn, with good Franconian cuisine with brewed beer
