Magerks Pub Grill Federal Hill

The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. We ordered a cheesesteak, shrimp po' boy, basket of onion rings, and 3 beers for only $44. Highly recommend this place if you're a football fan looking for a delicious meal at a very reasonable price.

The food at this restaurant was very good, especially the steak and cheese. The atmosphere at the bar was lively, with a strong scent of beer in the air.

Bestagles bar outside philly! the best cheeses from philly! born and raised in philly and now living in dc, it is hard to find a cheese steak that lives up to the “Philly Day” but magerk makes it! service is also excellent! vibes here are great! two days fun. barkeeps are always who check in on them and never let their glass run dry! I drive over an hour after Chesesteaks from here at least once in the month. They are so damn good! So, to see here, an Eagles game is on the cake icing! good to be surrounded by people who have the same interests!

The food lived up to the hype! These cheesesteaks were incredibly tasty. I ordered the classic version while my friend got a steak, and both were cooked to perfection. The cheese, whether American or provolone, was creamy and delicious, and the bread was nicely toasted. The service was excellent, and our drinks were delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back. We decided to try this place based on other reviews, and they were absolutely right!

The restaurant no longer offers daily food specials as advertised online. The staff seemed indifferent and did not pay much attention to us. Despite typically tipping 20%, our waiter/bartender hardly gave us any attention once a white guy at another table appeared. She appeared upset when she finally came to take our order, and seemed annoyed when we asked for more dressing. They only brought four dressings for 15 wings, charging 50 cents for each additional one. We found the service lacking and the overall experience disappointing. We recommend finding another pub in Baltimore unless you are already intoxicated or do not mind wasting your money. It seems that the service may improve during NFL season when they seem to hire staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about sports.
