Bidra med feedbackOne of the most bizzare things I've seen on my travels... This bakery is inside the Aquarium...I know its off season, but everything was run by a one person...one nice lady whom is baking the goods, serving the goods, cashiering the goods, cleaning the tables, selling tickets to the aquarium, feeding the fish, and god only knows what else! (What happens when she calls in sick? The beautiful pastries all looked lovely, but quite pricey by American standards...then again, I don't recall seeing any wheat fields while traveling through Norway. 28kr/$3.75 for most of donuts, I just couldn't bring myself to pay that. I got some sort of tomato pastry which tasty and healthier(I think for 24kr/$3.20. Coffee was pricey too, but standard for Norway at 30kr/$4. Afterwards, of course, we went to the Aquarium... (Note: At time of this review, the US dollar was up 50% against the Norway kroner...$1 7.5kr vs $1 5kr just a couple years ago
When we visited, this was also a cafe that was open until 9pm each night. All the food we had here was delicious and reasonable. I had a shrimp sandwich one day and scrambled eggs and salmon the next. We also stopped in for dessert one evening.
