Mariscos Martin - Baldwin Park

I ordered three dishes during my visit. The first dish was a tostada mixtape, which was neither flavorful nor visually appealing. The second item was a shrimp cocktail that was disappointing, featuring just a hint of ketchup and lacking taste. It contained cucumber, very little tomato, and no cilantro at all, making it the worst part of my meal and, in my opinion, a waste of money. On the positive side, they do offer a variety of hot sauces on the table, and they eventually provide ketchup, lime, and crackers. However, if you prefer your cocktail to have a strong flavor right from the start, this isn’t the place for you. The last dish I tried was the pezcado al mojo de ajo, which had a crispy exterior and soft interior with a generous amount of garlic on one side. Unfortunately, the rice was too mushy for my taste, while the beans were just average. As for the service, it was okay but quite mediocre overall; they forgot one of my drinks, and I didn't feel it was worth reminding them about it.

I really enjoy the food from this place especially the grilled fish. Price is good and friendliness is also good. The only down fall is during summer time, it is extremely hot inside as they do not have a/c or fans. I'm eating here with my girlfriend and we're on summer time and I'm literally sweating and dying of how hot it is inside this restaurant . They need to fix their a/c or add fans because you won't be able to enjoy your meal.

Absolutely the best place to visit! The staff is amazing, and the waitresses are consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes our experience delightful. The cook is fantastic, and the food is delicious! We absolutely love the coffee! Thank you, Mariscos Martin!

The tostadas mixta are oversized and delicious. Service is good for take out. The dining area feels a little warm for my taste.
