Salty's Bbq Catering - Bakersfield

Was looking for a place to eat. While I am out here for work from the valley. I was driving by and found Saltys. For my first time here food was grate staff was grate .grate service and food . Highly recommend if traveling through bakersfield to try fastys you won’t be disappointed.

Bought 1 of the dinner combos it came with 2 beef ribs that were super tough also 2 pork ribs more like 2 tiny baby back ribs and a half a chicken I do have to say the chicken was gd so basically I paid 30 dollars for a half a chicken everything else SUCKED!!Will try another BBQ place the next time I'm in Bakersfield never salty again it's a rip off then the give you a tip menu sorry but you don't tip on takeout you have to try it first

They ruined the beautiful artfully crafted flavors of the pulled pork by dumping BBQ sauce all over it. Most places let you place the sauce yourself. The spicy mac 'n cheese had nice flavor, however, the side was RUINED by over cooking the macaroni until MUSHY. The potato salad tasted like egg yolks finely blended with lots of mayonnaise. Garlic green beans were ON POINT. Nice flavor, beans NOT overcooked

Quaint place, but the food just wasn't that good in my opinion. I ordered the tri-tip ribs combo with potato salad added a half chicken drink. The chicken was the best part of the meal, but even that wasn't spectacular. The tri-tip was very dry tasted like lighter fluid, as did the beef and pork ribs, which didn't have much other flavor. The sauce was good helped cover-up the off taste a bit. The potato salad had black olives in it for some reason; I hate olives the flavor permeated the side dish, rendering it inedible for me. Service was great, though!

The service wasn’t good as accepted Special when asking questions i order chicken and Brisket the brisket was Really dry Compare to the There price I think the experience i had wasn’t good. or at least they got work on your service.
