I love this place because everything is delicious and um a fan the Ramon soup

The food is good, but the customer service has always been awful. Initially they are friendly when you order, but if there are any issues they quickly become short and rude. I eat there quite a bit and they are very unaccommodating to the customer. I had an instance where I order food and a drink online. Upon receiving my order they presented my to-go drink in a red solo cup. They said sorry they ran out of lids. I asked if I can have one of the soft drink cups with lids that were on the counter and they told me no. I asked for a refund because I didn’t want the drink to spill in my car (which it did while I was driving). They denied my refund because they already poured the drink. I asked why they didn’t call me and confirmed if I still wanted the drink that typically comes with a lid and they said because we don’t do that. Another time I ordered a dish to-go that didn’t come with one of the main ingredients. I asked why they didn’t give a courtesy call to inform me that the dish I order 1-2 times a week suddenly changed. In a rude tone they just said I don’t know what to tell you and hung up the phone. I’ve had a few more instances similar to those. They don’t make any effort rectify a situation or make sure customers are happy. Just the rudeness and the lack of courtesy alone makes me not want to order from here and not recommend it. I worked at restaurants for years and we always had to give customers courtesy notices when the menu changes and confirm that they are ok with the changes.

A hidden little jewel. eating is fresh and authentic. it's a small fun place with a lot of seating. super casual. cool place to lunch. there was no waiting time when we arrived during the midday and they took telephone orders for Kurb page pickup!

3/10/22 order food from here for the first time. I ordered the remix hot chicken plate. coleslaw was okay. reis was okay. but the chicken tastes just burned. that's not worth $16. ?3/11/22 edit: so after going and always another plate of the same thing, I can confirm that this taste much better. the parts were better, and the huh was not burned at all. I also decided to make kartoffelmac instead of the koleslaw and honestly prefer the kartoffelmac. I guess they're replacing my meal for free. his still a bit expensive in my opinion, but it was quite delicious in the second time around. I will not delete any of this review because transparency is important, but I will add updated pictures of food to compare before and after.
