Cafeteria Monterrey - Baiona

We had the best clams w butter and garlic, best pulpo, best fried calamari, and superb fried cod at this informal very unpretentious restaurant. Service was excellent as well! These dishes excelled--we have tried similar dishes at fancier places that didn't meet these standards!

The food was so good I would highly recommend anyone come here that wants delicious food for a reasonable price. I ordered the octopus and a tomato salad. Both were great. I stayed at the hotel across the street and the food was half the price here. And it was really good. The staff was friendly too. I would come back.

Good Churros y Chocolate at a fair price. Also had the empandas later that day. Unlike some, this place is open many hours during day/night. Sidewalk seating with a view of water and park across the street Waitstaff not impolite, but go about their business. Many local folks come by to get their coffee and tapas as offerings are priced below what others that cater to tourists close by are charging. Being a casual place, it lacks atmosphere of the other restaurants as well. A staple for the locals.

Comimos pulpo y empanada casera de xoubas, de postre tarta de manzana. El dueño amabilísimo y la comida de 10, no entiendo las malas valoraciones. Relación calidad precio muy buena y unas vistas de 10.

El servicio ha de mejorar, el dueño es muy agradable y educado, preocupado por el cliente, pero el personal debería cuidadlo màs. La ubicación es perfecta frente al Parador y el puerto y se podría aprovechar mucho más para su explotacióm hostelera, amplio tiempo de apertura.
