Kolberbrau - Bad Tölz

Stop on our vacation and found so many places to choose. Left very much feeling we have made the wrong choice (please cheat). Greek salad consisted of bowl of bagged salad mainly with delicious dressing, but over Euro 11. We dimmed in some wonderful places. you have not recommended

We were with a group. The service was good, the food ok and the rooms clean. But it is not a luxury place, but good value for money.

Pleasant atmosphere inside and a great place to watch the world when sitting outside in the summer months. Staff are usually helpful and friendly as you would expect in Bavaria. We often visited the restaurant, the food is average Bavarian quality in short, not bad or excellent. For the small appetite we recommend the fish plate (two different smoked fish with fresh horseradish and delicious potato pancakes. The Kaesespaetzle are also good if you are hungry and the cold beer is always the right choice. I can't recommend the Schnitzel range, nearby you will find better offers. In the winter months the famous Bavarian battle plate, an acquired taste, is found as typical Bavarian specialities. My personal recent experience was extremely disappointing, somehow along the lines even your dog would not like it. My fault completely, for the advice of the calendar: you do not serve or eat slaughter plate on a Sunday, it will not be fresh. The choice of my wife, the meat of the plate was also among the previously experienced standards. As in most Bavarian restaurants, the chef is a bit hard with the salt, the famous trick to sell more beer............... All in all, a place that will save you from hunger if you found it in the desert, but in Bad Toelz I would look elsewhere. On this occasion, the food served was not the paid price, the liquor offered in compensation (or first aid) was appreciated, but it will take a long time before we give the Kolberbrau another chance. A real shame.

I was there in October 2011 with some colleagues. It 's a good restaurant. Food and service were very good, what can you say more about a restaurant. Price seems to be good for the quality. Typical German food. I tried Hirsch Goulasch and was delighted. The restaurant is placed in the middle of a nice pedestrian area in the central part of Bad Toelz.

Wir waren auf der Rad Durchreise und haben kurzfristig noch ein Zimmer nach hinten bekommen. Leider etwas laut, wegen des Wasserlaufs. Neues, tolles Bad, gemütliches, sehr großes Zimmer mit super Frühstück. Kaffesonderwunsch wurde prompt erfüllt. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Essen.
