On a mild, dry winter Sunday we planned a trip to Bad Salzungen to take a walk around the Burgsee and not least return here. The café is very flowering and offers a good selection of cakes and sandwiches, but it has not attracted us. Cake and coffee or cappuccino were very tasty, especially the cakes were not too difficult the service friendly and fleeting, the audience and the ambience thrives. For Thuringian conditions, however, prices are also higher. The coffee box with 3,40 € to be booked, a cappuccino with 2,50 €, the Black Forest cherry cake and the marzipan-covered cake with 2,80 € each. Coffee basket of two persons for €11.50 (without tip) is still tolerable. Also sniffing was tolerated, but nothing was offered (cheese). But we were very satisfied and can recommend this café.
My review of the Cafe leg at the market in Bad Salzungen. It is located directly on the market in Bad Salzungen. In summer, you can sit on what's pretty. Have very good taste and coffee there. Also some ice creams can be chosen there If WM or EM is, they even have a room with beamer for transfer, then really breaks full. But is usually visited by a somewhat older clientele, but otherwise quite nice café.

Visually a really nice restaurant. Unfortunately, this is also the only one I can highlight positiw. during my visit in a Christmas holiday I was not satisfied with eating or with the service. the pizza was creepy dry, had too little soaking. the ice in my ice cup tasted for large pack and not as they expect in a restaurant. it seemed to be standing around for a few minutes because the plate was already covered with liquid, molten ice. the waiters who were responsible for our table seemed stressed, constantly in a hurry. this was also for the colleagues with the huge spicy mill (which was called highlight in many recessions) who were already laboriously asked if they wanted salt and pepper before they even tasted their own eating. at the end it was for me that I will not eat here anymore. very bad.
