Malebon - Aylesbury

I always order from these guys from Uber eats delivery for my Sunday breakfast. They have never let me down, the food always comes perfect temperature. The food cooked to perfection, and the cafe delivers it themselves and they are always very friendly. Can’t rate the breakfast here enough

Was looking for a good fry up midday on a Sunday. I fancied trying somewhere new so went to Malebon for the first time. It was a sunny day so my partner I sat outside at one of the tables, waiting to be served. Seeing as every other eating establishment now gives full table service due to covid restrictions, I assumed the waitress would come out and give us a menu. 10mins later, nothing. So we put our masks on moved to a table inside. We sat down and looked over the menu..even though we had pretty much decided on two fry ups coffee. We then waited another 10mins..the only waitress working continued to walk past us, clean tables and serve everyone else, before disappearing into a side room. We also noticed several people walking in out wearing no masks and going up to the counter. Eventually the chef looked over and asked if we were ready to order! He said we were meant to order at the counter well how were we supposed to know that? The waitress re appeared a few mins later came over and apologised to us after the chef obviously had a word with her. Food was excellent in the end anyhow, was well worth the wait. £6.99 for a tasty large fry up. :

I wanted to try this place for breakfast as they usually had a few customers in but was rather disappointed. I went in and waited to be seated and managed to catch the attention of the lady behind the counter who ignored me for a good ten minutes. Another customer came in from outside without a mask, wandered up to the counter and leant on it talking to the lady (also not wearing a mask) and touching the counter and other fixtures before going further back to talk to the chef (also not wearing a mask)at close range. I sat and waited but was ignored for while longer before I left. If somehow they imagine that Covid will not affect them then I hope they’re right.

We decided to try the Malebon for breakfast,it was early june so weather was quite nice and sat outside. Decent sized portions for full breakfast and 2 teas,pricing not bad.Service was pretty quick,would certainly come here again.

Cutlery and plates are not very clean, and we found a hair in the food (and didn’t receive any sort of apology when we returned it). The waiters and waitresses are nice, but management need to work on customer service.
