Palatul Brukenthal Avrig restaurant

Location is very nice, service is also ok not good, but reasonable, but eating was so bad that I have to give it back and that is not often done! it was like an elastic! the francs were frozen...and not cooked enough and we are in the land of the kartoffels! when they have to eat here, try some stuffed wein and enjoy the intention.

Everything is amaizing: eating the cocktails, the entire atmosphere and the personal was also very beautiful. we would recommend spending an afetrnoon here and even spending some nights in the wonderful hotel.

We were couples and as we were passing by,we stopped for a lunch. The services were so bad,we had to wait more than hours for our lunch,not to say that the lady who took the order sent to our table a younger colleague,as...she saw that we became unpacient, her attitude was unprofessional. Additionally, we had a plate with the fish a bit uncooked! The prices are not low at all and generally,the experience was terrible and not worthy!

For sunday lunching, here is heaven!! First, try to book by phone , is better! Try to take a table under umbrella or under a tree, avoid the sun!! All the food great, sweets are from heaven and the chef is very good! Romantic, boem...fragrance there is in the air, beatifull palace is on the park , even for a coffee and a drink is perfect! Drink socata with a lot of ice!! Eat papanasi!! The best from all my life! Bravo!!

We went to eat at this place after looking on the web page of the palace. So expensive and such a disappointment!!!!! We ate some of the food after we waited for ages to be served. The starters came at the same time with the main course and that seemed to be normal there. After reading about their bio products, we were served most poor quality food, e.g. White flour sauce instead of cream, mashed potatoes instead of bread dumplings, garlic mayo from a tube instead of home made garlic sauce. We did not adventured for desert. Besides, they had an extensive menu but only some dishes/deserts were available. Worst place we ever ate in Romania! I have read reviews from April and May which appear to say the food was good. I wonder if the chef has changed in the meantime. To whoever manages this place: the chef of this restaurant ruins all the pleasure this place can offer. Even a slow service can be forgiven if the food would be outstanding as expected for the prices you set!!!
