Hotel de Ville - Avignon

We booked nine people in this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. We spent the day before this brewery and reserved a very friendly gentleman. We were attracted to the paellas proposed by this establishment. However, we must admit that the google maps of opinions were not reassuring and could have made us change direction. But we have always honoured our promise, and we have not been disappointed! We were welcomed by a very friendly server that had humor! Orders were brought quickly and paellas were very good! This establishment therefore serves, unlike other opinions, good dishes! The person who celebrated his birthday had the right to a glass of champagne offered by the house! It was a good experience in this restaurant! Thank you for everything!

Very pretty and very motivated waitress, very available. Thank you, sarah! very good cooking, we tested beef tartar, bacon burger, marinar mussels and children's menus. Everyone was happy with his order. Most dishes are made home. the real plus is the honesty of the staff: they specify when the dishes are made home or not, it is indicated on the map and it is quite rare and honest to emphasize! I recommend!

Dropped in here due to extreme hunger pangs after a long train ride. We just got the house wine and mixed cheese and meat platter to share. House wine was delicious and good value. The wait for the platter was ridiculous over 30mins, but the waiter was very polite and complained for us on many occasions. He also gave us a complimentary glass of wine each to apologise. Platter was tasty, calimari and onion rings were frozen food standard though.

We were late eating lunch, so we stopped thinking it could not be that bad. we were wrong! We were seated fairly quickly, but after about 15 20 minutes, had to flag down more than one server to give our order. We had already made our selections from the menu board that told of the lunch specials. Lunch special of mussels were inedible rubbery with no taste at all. Margherita pizza had a tiny bit of cheese, nothing else also inedible. Hamburgers were a strange texture of meat with no taste also inedible. A total waste of money and time!

Waiter who catches us on the sidewalk without even having time to read the menu (it's going that we were hungry and more eager to walk)! my companion took a cheese burger the hard bread like the stone and the not good fries (we're getting better frozen in large surface at home) I took a paella made of advance the server told us (so I think frozen because all the competitors were doing the good! we will not return to this address because we love the small restaurants that make homemade and not frozen
