Sylvesters - AVALON

This is a family book and we were thrilled to go back this year. Eating is not a frills as it is served in a take-out container, but it is delicious. I had the swordfish special (my first attempted it) and it was delicious and tender. We also ordered the Tuna appetizer that was amazing. Service was fast and although we had a big party (14 adults and children) everything was right.

Good food....RC Cola, haven't had it in years.....just as good as I remember. I thought I little pricey for the portion size but still good.....waitress was absolutely rude....never even checked on our table until we were done eating and still had to wait 15 mins for the check....would definitely return as long as she didn't wait on us.

Me and my family always go here on the last day of our beach holiday. We all get She-Crab soup and mozzarella sticks. We also buy a bunch extra to bring home because its just so, so good! As a person who doesn't like seafood at all, I still love this soup! If I could give this a thousand star rating i would!!

Sylvester 's is a family tradition in the Stone Harbor/Avalon area. A restaurant that has been traveling for generations serves freshly caught seafood at competitive prices. Several cooking options ensure that your food is served as you enjoy it most. Sylvester 's could best be described as outdoor seafood gardens. Instead of a building, the restaurant consists of finished picnic tables under awnings surrounded by fence plates. Food is served in heavy paper collection containers. Sylvester 's is BYOB so make sure you have your favorite drink with seafood. It will not be a cheap meal, but compared to other seafood joints, you will not leave with an empty stomach.

Sylvester is one of our favorite places to eat in Avalon, and we have been around 20 years! Lump crab contains a lot of crab for a reasonable price. Worth the trip!
