He changes the menu on a whim to bring excitement to food. He nails the duck and if he’s doing pork belly don’t miss it. Ask when he’s doing a sous vide Creme brûlée, that will blow your mind�
Top notch gourmet food. Owner is hands on and attentive. His brother is chef. Friendly and inviting. Nice outdoor patio. Price is fair given the quality of the food. Very innovative short menu. Mango ice over flourless chocolate torte was outstanding. Can’t say enough about entire experience.
We feel so lucky to have found this gem during our visit to Costa Rica! Everything from the smiles and welcome as we entered to the detailed description of the lovely menu options were perfection. Absolutely a top choice for any palate from anywhere in the world. They have a true respect for local ingredients and a passion for the history of San Jose.
Truly top class food at a reasonable price (compared to what we are used to in London). Excellent service in ambient surroundings also.
