Delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine with great service. Do not skip the nasi padang and the pace. It was busy during lunch, but they still got the food very fast. You also have changing weekly specials. Must try!
Twin Panda was a very, very pleasant surprise. For $20 you get an authentic legit Indonesian dish. I tried her Nasi Padang Combo and wow, the so many childhood memories back.. Make sure to dine-in and ask for special menus on the weekend.
Not many places to eat Indonesian food in Austin, but this place is a jewel! Order the Indonesian daily menu and come with a group to try out all things, although you cannot go wrong with something on this menu. Everything was delicious and the prices are quite decent. You have a good parking lot and the noise level is low.
If you want to try Indonesian food, this is the spot. Extremely flavorful and beautiful execution of traditional Indonesian dishes. If you are not sure about what Indonesian dish to try for the first time, I highly recommend the nasi goreng kampung (street fried rice). This dish embodies Indonesian flavors and spice. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful! This restaurant also serves Chinese food which I have never tried, but I am sure they do some good takeout food. This place is definitely my family's go-to restaurant whenever we are visiting Austin!
