Rudy's Country Store -b-q - Austin

I'm new when it comes to Texas BBQ, so I was excited to try Rudy's. You order at a counter, where the service is fast and efficient. There's a good number of tables, with an additional patio area. To the side, there's a station where you get utensils and any fixings like pickles and onions. Each table also has two of their signature BBQ sauces, which were great. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a side of coleslaw, and the flavor of the pork was delicious. It was juicy and paired well with the sandwich bun. I would definitely come back and try out more of the menu.

I really enjoy Rudy's. I've sampled many barbecue spots since relocating to Texas, and I still believe that Rudy's brisket is among the finest!

Honestly, this was the worst prime rib I've ever had. It was extremely dry and overcooked. What a waste of $30! I've enjoyed good prime rib from this restaurant in the past, so I was really disappointed.
