Ambience is amazing, very classy. Margaritas, Chips, Salsa, all good. The special entrees we tried, mixed feelings ... Few were very good (shrimp empanizados were good) nd few were very raw to our liking, maybe just us. But definitely diff than ur usual Mex Rest.

The food was fairly unimpressive. Fancy presentation doesn’t make it taste any better. Cocktails were very overpriced and not good at all. The casso was a stringy mess.

Awesome food! You can start off with complementary salsa and chips. Salsa was really good as well as the chips! I had a pomegranate margarita and it was very good! I ended up getting the chile relleno de la mar. It had scallops, crab meat and shrimp stuff in the pepper with a spicy sauce! So good i would get it again. The dish came with mashed black beans refried black beans lol) and rice. Everything tasted delicious! I ended up spending around 50 bucks for everything. Definitely give this place a try!

As fate would have it, this is our first time back to Manuel's in 6 years. We live nearby and have tracked the news on potential closures due to increased rent etc and after visiting tonight, I am very glad Manuel's has not only held on but has seemingly turned their menu around in a big way. We got: chips and salsa (included) really tasty salsa. Nice bit of heat, fresh taste patron margaritas, which were excellent. Decent size, great taste, good strength juan's ceviche. Really fresh, solid portion size, very yummy mole enchilada's. Some of the best mole i've had in recent memory, side of rice was also delicious pescado a la parilla with black drum and salsa veracruzana Service was also on point. Our waiter was highly attentive but not overly present. With so many restaurants in the Great Hills area having closed in the past few years and very few quality choices remaining, Manuel's will now be added into our regular rotation and I am very much looking forward to our next visit. ____ Original review from 2017: Quesadillas were pretty OK, not great. Same thing for the house margaritas. Service was good.
