Ihop - Austin

A little slow Sunday afternoon. Our server was new, but very attentive. I never had to ask because he always offered. IHOP, you know how the food is. And try a seasonal shake when you are in milk. Parking: It is next to a home depot. You can find parking no problem. Accessibility: There are disabled parking directly in front and seemed like there was a slope for chairs near the entrance. Nutrition restrictions: They offer gluten-free and vegetarian options on the menu currently.

Sad....this used to be a great IHOP, but it's not the first time it's taken a really long time to be greeted at the door, let alone sat at a table. This last time, no one ever came. We stood by the entry and multiple team members even looked at us from the kitchen, and no one bothered to say anything to us. I understand staffing concerns but just ignoring customers seems like poor business practice. Doubtful we'll be returning in the future, and if you do decide to go here, you better not be in a hurry.

Worst service.There was 2 of us and we were waiting on 1 more person just 1 more person. And we could not get seated until our other person showed up. So called ‘manager’ said those were her rules. That we were robbing from the servers because we were just going to sit down for hours. So what ? We are paying for a service! She did not know if we were going to leave a $1 tip or a $50 tip. That would deppend on service provided.Manager told us to leave saying they would not serve us anymore.Really bad experience . Do NOT recommend.Coming from a current server, this is not how you treat your customers.There is a picture of the so called ‘manager’.

I love I hop. Shame the closest one to me is horribly run. Ordered curbside, sat out there 20mins. Went in food was sitting on a cart, and never got my coffee I paid for.

I did not like the service. The waitress look like she did not want to be there. I explain to her what I wanted to do. That was to order our meal first then have our short stacks later. She ended up bringing our meal and one short stack together. I had to get up and go ask for the other short stack after I was done eating. She was nowhere to be found I had to call out to three times before someone answered me in the back. She never came and asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks or even to ask if we wanted something else on top of our pancakes. I waited and waited watched my husband eat his pancakes while I was waiting for mine. I was so very irritated with this young lady that you all call a waitress. This is one of the worst location here in Austin. Ever time I go to this location which is close to my house. I get better service at Denny’s than at this location. That cooks are doing good because the food tastes awesome. You can do better on the Waiters.??
