Friends - Austin

The bar itself is very cool, good music, nice people, the works. But I went there tonight, hoping to have a good time with my friend Maria and was greeted with an absolute, completely wasted bearder who not only got my drink completely wrong as well as my friends, but also asked me to pay for his mistake and the drink I originally asked. More, he asked for my ID to make sure that I wasn't as minor, fair enough, and then tried to use it as a credit card for at least 3 minutes before he realized that he asked for payment. When I repeatedly asked about my ID, after he realized his mistake, he tried to get my wallet out of my hand and when I repeatedly refused because I was not even the one who paid, he threatened to kick me. I work in the service industry, if I ever, EVER tried to get money out of a customer's hand, I would hope my manager would fire me on site because that's completely out of line. Worst service I ever had in my whole life, if I had his name, I would tell you to avoid it specifically, but since he never existed, I recommend avoiding the bar completely.

I liked the music. The voice of Erica and the good vibrations were fantastic. You step up every Sunday to check it. It was my birthday and I just couldn't stop dancing. No cover, but please, if you type the Bartender and the bands. I loved the whole mood of the place. Sitting is limited, but if you don't mind standing and dancing, that's a non-problem. Again, Awesome Work Good vibrations and great singing. Do you think so?

We walked in to hear a young band bulls on parade on a Sunday night. So funny! Then Monday/president day before our flight, stayed for lunch. Smoked Brisket Tacos are not to be missed. Live music at noon. That was such a wonderful find on the Austin Marathon weekend.

I'd say I liked this place, but the music was so loud that I couldn't hear what I said to the people. That said the band was good. The drinks were good, though a bit expensive, and the bar staff was friendly. Really this gets a low rating because the area in which it is shady. I couldn't help but constantly looking over my shoulder that goes down the road.

What a great bar! Enjoyed the live music and the ambiance there! Lewis Christian plays there every Sunday at 3pm. Love this band!
