Chi'lantro - Austin

I really missed all major Korean foods at home, so I was looking forward to this Korean BBQ inspired chain. I ordered her specialty, Kimchi Fries, who she was a 'Texas Favorite' and home to the original Kimchi Fries. They say they invented them. Maybe they have. When it came out, everything looked good, but the taste, it's simple, okay, let's start with the beef. It was hard and cold and tasteless.. I expect Kimchi to bite them, there was no bite. The whole thing just didn't taste good. I'm sorry, but it was just bad. I see many people love this place, so maybe it was just a fuke or a bad day. Staff is the only reason I don't have a star. You were super friendly and nice.

The food was great and had a lot of taste! I like the adjustment you have with blows and meat. Workers were friendly, clean dining area and total delicious food!

Cliff is a terrible GM that has the worst customer service, I never come back to this Chi? Lantro again and again. I loved this place, but after what I experienced with a cliff and his staff, I will never refer anyone to this place. I'll take my business differently. This will be my last visit to Chi?Lantro. This place used to be my neighborhood for every meal. The staff is less and less communicative, in some cases with limited English, and this time there were at least 8 people behind the counter. Nevertheless, my Burrito lasted about 8 minutes to be finished and wrapped because there was no communication behind the counter. My egg was overdue because someone left it alone to do another job. Even after the payment we stood there and watched my unarmed burrito on the line being ignored, because nobody took the initiative to stop it. It's an administrator. They also eliminated the neighborhood discount for locals. I could expect this from a lower endpoint, but for a $20 Burrito, I'll spend my money somewhere. I'm sorry.

I?m a long time customer but this was my first time at this location. I love the set up here! Kimchi fries bomb as always! Love visiting all the recent locations.
