Mei Ling Chinese Food - Aurora

The Hot Sour soup here is very good. I also recommend the Wonton soup with BBQ Pork. For main course usually go for Szechuan Dinner for One choose either Szechuan Chicken. Might give Ginger Beef a try next visit. My only Complaint:The restaurant uses a Wooden Brush to mix the food and a good size piece was found inside the actual dish. You wouldn't want to swallow that, very dangerous. I ask the restaurant to either replace the wooden brush or stop using such a thing that could put health and safety at risk. I understand it's a traditional method to cook but old ways are also dangerous. I never had this issue at any other Chinese restaurant.I thank Mei Ling for replacing the dish and appreciated the explanation how the wood got in the food. Stop using the wood brush to cook.

I've been here with my family for at least 15 years. Best Chinese food place we go to when I visit my parents.

Love this place ...one of the best chinese food places I've ever eaten at. It's my go to every time I'm in the area. Food is always freshly cooked and served piping hot. Only draw back is they still don't really have eat in service. If you like Peking Duck ...I would ahead to arrange it and you will love it.

It was after 9pm when I called for a food delivery. I was quoted a really high price without being able to confirm the price with a menu. I believe they changed me way above the regular menu prices. I chose to go ahead because I was hungry, no other choices were available at that time of night(other than pizza).

Way way waaaaay too much SALT!!!! HorribleCould not finish meal, threw most of it out. Very unhealthy. Will not order again. Sorry, cannot recommend.
