Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Auburn Hills

When I called to get my receipt information and speak with a manager about a resolution, the young man on the phone said he was the manager, Jamari T. He offered me a refund or the option to come back for a remake. I explained that I was on the road, 50 minutes from home, and could return on Wednesday, but preferred a refund. He told me that I needed to be in-store to process the refund and suggested I contact customer service or visit the website for assistance. When I asked for the customer service number, he informed me that they were extremely busy at 7:25 PM and that he couldn’t provide that information at the moment. I offered to wait until they were less busy, but he claimed not to have the number in-store and didn’t know it. He then laughed with the other guy in the background and abruptly hung up the phone. It’s disheartening to spend your last $20 to treat your kids and partner after a two-hour drive, only to be met with disrespect, disappointment, and dishonesty.

The food was very relaxed, came out quickly, and was delicious!

This is the worst Tropical Smoothie in the county. The management shows little concern for their employees, resulting in poor work conditions. I cannot recommend dining here or working at this location.

This used to be my favorite Tropical Smoothie in the area. Sadly, the quality has greatly decreased in the last year or so. Every order has items missing and every smoothie is running down the sides of the cup and tatse just like water. The salads are half full and when they remember your sauce they only give you one unlike every other cafe in a 20 mile radius which gives two. The Crooks rd, University, Sashabaw, and M59 locations all have better quality and better service.

Tasty food thats certainly healthier than other counter-serve options out there. Tons of smoothie choices, from the uber-healthy to dessert-style. Quick service too, which is unusual for TSCs! The only downside is that eating inside can be a bit uncomfortable as the smoothie blenders are constantly running and can be pretty loud.
