El Dorado Mexican Restaurant - Auburn

I walked in. They immediately showed great hospitality when they had a free moment. They sat me down, got the chips and salsa and a beer. They took my order and in 5 minutes I had my food. It was tasty and perfect. Every bite. Will definitely be back again when in the area. Would've taken pictures but, food smelled so great and tasted so great that I forgot to.

Before Miss Alabama USA in 2022 we went to El Dorado to eat something. I wish we all knew how big the portions were, because all places are almost for 2 persons, including children's meals. Drinks are also large. And I'll say the big margarita I ordered myself is for at least 3 people. I have the chance to try all the plates and appetizers. Chips and salsa are amazing, queso was definitely out when this world. The meats were boiled and deliciously seasoned, and I will say steaks have fat (I love this, some people did not. Fries were also big, but I took the picture too late! The rest of my family ordered 1 bowl of soup that was enough for 4 people to take a small cup, they also shared some beef and tortillas. 2 records were enough for 4 people. We all took containers to go and took almost half of the meal home, which was great because we later have a little more and food is really GOOD. We ordered 11 meals, 6 drinks, 1 small margarita and 1 large margarita and the exam was $180, tipped $60 (which was fair enough-- definitely coming back next year!

That's a funny place. Great service. Suitable cocktails and great food! Try the chicken soup! It's a meal.

Great place for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff and tasty food, especially the chorizo cheese dip!
