Bidra med feedbackWe visited the restaurant at around 11:30 AM on July 3rd, 2024. We chose the buffet, but it turned out to be quite dry, and there was barely any cobbler available. Our grandson ordered fish, which took an incredibly long time to arrive. When our waitress finally brought him his meal, we never saw her again to check on our table! We had brought family from out of town to dine with us, and we felt so embarrassed by the experience!
Today might have been an off day, but I suspect they were just short-staffed. It was Sunday after church, so the place was packed. Our party of four had a mixed experience: two of us received our meals promptly, while the other two had to wait over 20 minutes for theirs. Additionally, it took a long time to get the complimentary breadsticks. Our waitress was very sweet and clearly working hard, but I felt bad asking her for anything. To make matters worse, we had to deal with a couple of gnats and a fly while trying to enjoy our food. I think it would be beneficial for restaurants to use decorative fly and gnat traps that can be placed right on the tables. Overall, I’m not sure this location measures up to the one in Millington.
The food is fantastic. While the buffet items don't seem to be made with quite as much care as the regular orders, they still surpass expectations. I tried the pizza buffet after enjoying their pizza from a regular order the week before, and I’ve also sampled a couple of other dishes. My wife had the calzone and absolutely loved it. The waitstaff is incredibly sweet and friendly. Prices are very reasonable, if not cheaper than I expected, to be honest. The place is clean and charming. While there’s nothing particularly remarkable about the atmosphere, it’s not needed—just good food and good people in our small town.
Food and service are always great. Salad bar is one of the best around. Never have had a bad meal here and top-notch service.
I've never had a bad experience at this restaurant!
