Bidra med feedbackStopped in for brunch and had the best meal we had on our weekend getaway in Atlanta. $4 **** Mary's , amazing chicken and waffles, bison burger, all were just perfect. A+ service, quiet patio, 6 stars.
I recommend There on Fifth. You may be seated by a host inside or outside. Today was beautiful, so we sat outside by the park. There was a regular menu and a brunch menu to choose from. I picked chicken and waffles from the brunch menu and orange juice. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy. The waffle was served with strawberry and banana slices; and it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. With the syrup, it was a delicious breakfast harmony. My son had the impossible burger from the regular menu and was very impressed.
First time here, just killing time at noonish on Saturday. Barkeep was friendly and when I asked for an Irish beer, he said he had something better: drafty Kilt Ale, a local brew. He was right, it was delicious. I ordered a Bison Burger, a house specialty with two smashed Pattie's and lots of gooey good stuff. I didn't care for fries and he suggested a side salad... Man, this guy was batting 1.000. A waitress took over and she was quick, friendly and very efficient. I wound up over-tipping.... Anyone who works on a beautiful day in the Spring deserves recognition. Thank you, ThereOnFifth, a very splendid hour!
You have to be There on Fifth. Ask about the specials cause they are just as good as the mainstay. Try the lobster sandwich or the lobster crab cake specials. There will be no leftovers, promise. And the fish and chips off the menu are just as delicious. All the meals were exceptional...just like the service. Ask for Kaleb and he'll direct you to your best choices. And the deserts are mouth-watering marvelous.
Spur of the moment visit but glad we ventured in. The cozy bar located near midtown has one of the best underrated burgers in the area. With very well priced cocktails and solid service, this joint was definitely a low key vibe that you want to check out . We opted for two side cars which were only $10 and got an amazing smash burger ruben for entrees. Parking can be iffy especially on weekends but street parking is available if you look hard enough . The crowd was mixed with tourist and tech studies which allows for a vibrant interesting mix. Will definitely return ... word is their brunch is a must . ~FOODis£0¥€
