Bidra med feedbackDoesn't exist inside the market anymore. So incredibly disappointed, was so excited to try the food.
Does not exist. Business is no longer there. It's supposed to be inside of Muncipal market downtown. Don't bother.
Food wasn’t bad. The owner and the two workers seemed very overwhelmed tho. Maybe it was just one of those days. I’d like to try the food again under better circumstances.
As a lover of small business restaurants, this one missed the mark. I ordered the Pollo en Fuego Chicken Sandwich Pimento Cheese, Jalapenos Chipotle Mayo, and Red Onion these are the toppings listed on the menu) with fries. The Owner stated she didn't have the Pimento Cheese so she uses Pepper Jack and Cheddar melted together, I tried to order Banana Pudding but it wasn't ready. A customer already sitting waiting on food raved at how amazing the food was there, but after being told that my food was coming I just had 45 seconds on my fries which turned into 6 minutes because said customer pitching an investment deal to the owner who I think completely forgot she actually had customers there, I now understand why he raved about the food. After listening to other customers approach there are alot of items there are listed but not available due to menu changes. The Chicken Sandwich is huge, double breaded fried extra crispy 3 stars if you like double battered), the fries are battered didn't care for them) which isn't listed on the menu. I gave 3 stars because the owner was friendly.
Let me tell you, Kim (I think that's the lady's name) is one of the NICEST restaurant workers I have ever met! She let us know as soon as we sat down that she was running a BIT slower than usual because she was doing everything alone (I guess her coworkers were out sick that day) and so we expected to wait maybe a bit longer than usual for our orders (bartered French fries). What we did NOT expect was her to engage us in pleasant conversation while she cooked and to bring us EXTRA servings of fries while my friend and I sat and chatted. We ended up tipping her another $3 (fries cost $3) because she even let us taste her sweet potato fries as a thank you for our patience with the serving delay. Now concerning food flavors: the battered fries were a WIN! Def a 4/5 in my book when it comes to nice, crispy (greasy-yum) fries that taste like chicken lol She was experimenting with the new sweet potato fries and mmm I hope she continues experimenting with the flavors in order to get them JUST right (they weren't my fave but she gave them to us for free so I can't complain at all) 5/5 for the great vibes and pleasant worker! Kudos to you Kim! (God I hope that's her name)
