Lui Lui - Athens

My husband and I ate here with a friend last night. It was our first time in this restaurant, but I hope not the last. It is definitely at the level of the scale, but the food was absolutely delish! FYI at the top was 121 for three people, but to be fair there were 2 appetizers, 3 glasses of wine and 3 desserts in this too. Since it was our first time, we wanted to experience everything. My husband had the special fried duck, and he loved it! I had salmon and our friend had shrimp ties. The coffee we had with Dessert was amazing! It's a local brand, Ridge Runner, I think. They use many local foods, including Snowville Creamery, as well as sustainably increased salmon among others.

We stayed here on the way back to Columbus from NC. It's a bit away from the Interstate/Highway path, but worth the distraction. The restaurant is cozy and has beautiful decorations. The atmosphere is suitable for everything from a family meal to tonight. Our server was attentive and friendly, but did not float. Our meal arrived quickly and was fresh and hot. There were many vegetarian options, and everything was super delicious. The spring rolls were made clear in the house and were excellently seasoned. The edamame was great. My tofu in a spicy garlic sauce was delicious. The tofu was a bit crispy on the outside. Perfect! The vegetable pleasure was also apparently quite delicious. Prices are reasonable and fairly average. The value for your money is good. We recommend Lui Lui's!

Great quality great staff excellent cuisine exquisite have nothing bad to say about this place is 100% fantastic. And especially very clean food through these i my vegan foods, cows without adding hormones, free range chickens, etc well worth the prices.

I brought my wife to Lui Lui last night. We had a wonderful evening. All staff are friendly. In the end we got a free cake. The lamb frame is great!

I've enjoyed eating at Lui Lui for almost 20 years! It has been a staple in Athens and was always the go-to place with my family and friends. I'm very sad to hear that you are closing, so I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the wonderful memories!!!
