Ideal Bagel Co - Athens

Always a great experience. Wish there was more parking, but the staff are great, wonderful service and many ways to choose from!

I really enjoy stopping here every time I'm in the area of Athens. The bagels are fresh with a small selection of choices. I enjoy the smoked spoon with cream cheese and capers bagel. You have a nice selection of spreads and a few sandwich options. Small seating with coffee, tea and other drinks. In the middle of the college scene, Ideal Bagels is busy at lunch and early breakfast. Staff were always friendly and service is fast. Take out or eat. If you have a good bagel, you'll be worth the stop.

I had the bacon egg and cheese on a garlic bagel 10/10 never had a garlic bagel before and this was tasty!Husband had everything bagel and lox, and as a northerner he was mighty surprised at how good it was.Will likely return for another breakfast date. Parking is minimal but if you're up early it is not a concern, or if you're walking.

Fresh bagels, great toppings, and excellent service. My fav is the salmon on PET (pumpernickel everything) with the pickled onions and plain cream cheese.

Salmon bagel I ordered I had to spit out. This was after driving home. Had to drive back and lady upfront didn’t seem to care after I told her issues. I had to ask to get another item, should of been offered and apologized to for being given fish that’s going bad. Should of read reviews before ordering that but it’s my favorite. Not my fault it’s not made fresh. Next bagel I got was ok but nothing crazy good.
