Bojangles - Athens

Spoke to the new manager. he was very friendly and seemed very sincere in managing these problems. while eating was in order what I ordered was really frustrating. first, with only 2 cars in front of me, I had to wait 15 minutes. then, my simple order of 5 pieces superior combo, pommes, no sose, add Slav, limonade was obviously much too difficult for the personal to handle. after 4 I finally filled my order correctly. had to say for my drink, we have no limonade. also I had to ask for my change $8 then correct them if they had short-circuited me probably because they had lost the entry into the process. what should be a quick and easy eating that turns into a real annoying.

The staff has always been less than appeasing to say slightly rude would be my lie for the day. And a big one at that. While Larry was there the food was good, edible, hot, all your normal I GAF about my job and feeding people (not only the less fortunate) since he's been gone. JFC the s**tshow that place has become. I've never given the highest of praise for BJs but anymore i avoid it AT ALL COST

One of the worst places to get "fast food" on the east side, and that's really saying something. It's a total disaster. I can't understand how a fried chicken restaurant runs out of fried chicken in the middle of the day.

This is by far the worst Bojangles location. Given that it's one of the few in Athens, you'd expect better staff. My husband and I recently moved to the East side, and unfortunately, every time I've visited this Bojangles, the employees have been consistently rude and disrespectful. I recommend finding a different location. Bojangles needs to do better.

I’m not sure what the management situation is, but it seems like there are only teenagers working there. Most of the time, there's just one person on duty, with a few others wandering around the dining area. Today, I saw one wearing a black tank top moving about in the back. When I drove past the window to leave, I noticed four of them hanging out by the back door, which felt odd given that the dining room was closed. I can’t tell if they're employees or just kids loitering around, but there don’t seem to be any adults in charge. Every visit has been marked by unprofessional staff, incorrect orders, and a general lack of care about customer service. I definitely won’t be coming back.
