Bidra med feedbackGreat place to visit! It has a very cozy atmosphere, and the food is served with a lot of care.
We started with the pakora, which was crispy and hot, paired wonderfully with the mint chutney. For our main courses, we had the bhuna ghosht and the chicken biryani, both of which were excellent. The biryani had authentic aromas and was flavorful, with delicious coriander and bell pepper, and was served in a generous portion. The lamb in the bhuna ghosht had just the right amount of heat and was very tender, perfect for both my partner and me. For dessert, we chose the gulab jamun, which was warm, sweet, and an ideal way to end our meal. The couple running the restaurant were extremely welcoming and made great recommendations. The service from all the staff was excellent as well. We will definitely return to try more dishes, and the prices were very reasonable too.
It's truly disappointing to see the Tandoori closed. It seems to be another casualty of COVID. I'm very grateful to the Tandoori team for their wonderful restaurant, and I sincerely hope they will be back one day.
I ordered online from here tonight at 5 PM, but the delivery didn't arrive until after 6 PM. I ordered two mixed plates for a total of $30, and each one included just one samosa, one piece of chicken, one small kebab, and one lamb cutlet. For $15 each, that's quite disappointing! The lamb curry wasn’t fresh either, making it a total waste of money. I definitely won't be ordering from here again. I recommend trying Khana Khazana further down the road; it's much better!
The Chicken Madras was tender and juicy, bursting with lovely flavors and served steaming hot. The cheese naan was equally delicious, though it was a bit greasy and heavy, so I might opt for the plain or garlic naan next time. The Kashmiri pulao was a delight.
