Molly Cooper's Grill - Ashland

Great place to dine for both locals and vacationers. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints. The view of Lake Superior can't be beat!

When we first walked in, we were impressed with the incredible lake view and atmosphere. Our drinks from the bar were delicious and we browsed the menu while waiting for a table outside. When we sat down, however, we waited approximately 20 minutes foranyone to serve us, while watching others who had sat down AFTER us recieve their drinks and appetizers. The manager finallystopped by and asked if we wanted another round of drinks. At that point we left and I asked for the check from the bartender.When i explained why we were leaving to the staff and my girlfriend voiced that she was upset, they completely disregarded ourconcerns and handed us the check without a word. So we ended up getting a pizza down the street where were promptly served. Idefinitely would not recommend this place to anyone.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the Chequamegon Hotel, which also features a charming restaurant and bar. The cozy, intimate basement bar has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy some time together!

The burgers and sandwiches here are excellent, and their North Coast Chowder has been a favorite for many years. It's a fantastic spot for lunch and drinks on the deck when the weather is warm.

I ordered the fish tacos, and when they arrived, the presentation was appealing with a nice thick fish fillet. However, they had a strong fishy taste and were accompanied by chips and salsa. I tried one taco and mentioned to the server that they tasted off, but there was no offer of compensation or alternative dishes. I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
