Hamilton's Steakhouse - Asheboro

First time Asheboro. Want good dinner and steak. Saturday July 1st. The cook and staff hit it out the park. The flavor was perfect. Drinks spot on. Everything came out hot and served just right. I will be back. Parking: Great location. The salad was really good. The waiter was nice. Steak had no taste. Gouda Mac and cheese were cold and hard. I know it was between lunch and dinner when we were there, but if you spend this much money on a meal, it should be better than Golden Corral.

A real disappointment for a special occasion. I brought my wife and daughter here for my wife's birthday. We've been looking for a restaurant in NC that has Beef Wellington for years. We were so excited to find Hamilton. We have reservations and reserved (2) Beef Willington?s, (cooked MEDIUM) We drove there almost an hour. Our service was great (Our server confirmed that we cooked two Beef Wellington?s MEDIUM when we ordered our daughters Entree), our soup, salad and bread were great, but then our entree?s and the Beef Wellington that we came out of boiled WELL DONE completely gray in color! My wife made potatoes and Gravy cold. We drew attention to management. They immediately brought us fresh potatoes, but only offered us free desert instead of two $50 EACH, ~way~ overboiled, and not good Beef Wellington?s. My daughter grilled salmon was good, and the two deserts were good, but all good? was not worth $169 for a dinner for three when two of the ducks were almost infallible. We had hoped that this would be our new restaurant for special occasions, but what a disappointment and disappointment. Bottom line don?t order the Beef Wellington here!

We had a wonderful dinner here to celebrate our 9th anniversary. Awesome Ribeye and everything! Staff are super friendly! Great restaurant in downtown. We love this place!

We showed up here for our wedding anniversary and it was amazing. The food was great! I wish I had taken pictures, but was ready to eat. Besides everything that is wonderful, I would like to recommend the filled mushrooms as an appetizer. They were there! Our server Becca was very attentive and on things. We will surely be back!!! Love this place is in my hometown. Thanks for the nice evening!!
