Cooper's Hawk Winery - Ashburn

We got it for take out and it took them 45 minutes to bring the food out after we have already arrived at the told time that the food would be ready. We called the number multiple times and no one picked up. When someone finally did pick up they said that the take out girl was busy with in-house customers and put us on hold and the Phone hung up on us.. My wife had to go in and talk to someone to get the food then still had to wait another 10 minutes. A young lady that clearly worked there told her she kinda doesn 't work here so you gotta go find someone else to help you with that... when we got back to our hotel everything was cold. The bread was hard as a brick. Her spaghetti was dry and cold. The ice was melted. The flat bread with the cheese was already congealed and when warmed up tasted like not buy soggy bread.

I have been a wine club member here for some time now. Our previous couple of experiences these past few months have been mediocre to say the least! Tonight the service was appalling. The server first approached us after 15 minutes to say she would clean the table after previous guests left. She returned 10 minutes later to wipe with a dry napkin and leave us with previous guests silver wear and napkins. She served everybody else around us that came in after us and ignored us until we called her again to order our food. We eventually got our food. When picking up my wine from the wine club shortly after paying I was informed I had a food credit that had to be used before 8/30. The server did not inform us of this. After tonight I am cancelling my membership and wont be returning.

Service was horrible. We never got a waiter we asked another waiter to assist. The manager came out and found a waiter to assist. Once we order our food it was more than one hour before it arrived. Not a great experience.

This was a hard one to rank. Overall the food was good, but not great. We had some appetizers that were very good (sashimi, meatballs, bruschetta), but the dinner entries were just decent. I order the surf and turf with the prime grilled steak and drunken shrimp. The service was very strange and bad. When he first arrived, he asked if we wanted drinks. One person at the table said they wanted water and he walked off. He came back about 15 minutes later to get out drinks and appetizers. We finished the apps before we received any drinks. Throughout the dinner, we ordered more drinks and they took a long time. Our server always came back and said the bartender must be sleeping on the job. One of our people had a shell fish allergy and told him. She later ordered the flourless chocolate cake, and the waiter said 'oh, so have more food allergies ', which she didn 't. Everyone was shocked at the comment. He came back with dessert plates for everyone except her.

Excellent selection and service. Fair prices. Great ambiance. We are loyal and regular customers.
