Shell - Ash Springs

My husband and I just stopped at the Shell Station in Ash Springs. We got the gas we needed paid at the pump. We went inside to buy a snack or 2. Then realized we had not only locked our keys In our truck, but both of our cell phones. We have OnStar needed to call them to unlock our truck. We didn't get the names if the guy girl working, but she offered to let us use her cell phone rather than using the business phone. We called OnStar our truck was unlocked. But we want to say thank you to both if them for their professional help let them know once again how much they were appreciated.

I have half a tank of gas, I 'll be fine! If you 're towing a trailer, heading north on 318, then maybe you won 't be fine! This is the last gas station until you get to Lund, NV (108 miles away) where you 'll find Lane 's Coffee Shop (might not sound like it, but they DO sell diesel). Probably best to top off here before heading further north unless you 're rocking 40+ gallon tanks, or carry extra gas cans (like I do NOW).

Green Valley Grocery and Shell Station is conveniently located off the hwy. Fuel prices are a little high but store and bathrooms are clean. Well stocked for snacks and drinks for your travels. Friendly staff.

Always stop for burger but Saturday 09/14 grill closed, short of help,now today 09/18 grill closed because they're too busy really??? Youd think that's when they would make money. Sure hope the grill is open next time or I'll just quit stopping here. Not happy!

Got to give a shout-out to the local employees here. They have stuck to their guns and despite the 'big ole ' switch of ownership, really have embraced the good positive changes and hung on to what makes it great for so many.Undoubtedly, they have always been a huge reason that kept many regulars stopping by. Greeted with such warm welcoming smiles that make you feel like family. Great atmosphere for family, friends, snowbirds, outdoorsy type, date night, and even the alien seekers.They know their stuff too, need to be turned around in the right direction or find a fascinating trial. They can get you there, or show you the map lol and not to mention a good laugh at a bad joke or two lol j/k, and they sure can cook too. Wonderful menu with goodies for your deserts or just snacks. Can 't give them the star rating I want too, so I thought I 'd share some of my favorite things about the new shell station. I 'm afraid without the employees it wouldn 't be a favorite stop for many. Keep up the good work and we are always looking forward to our next stop
