The food here was good, although the items listed on the menu, as regional specialties looked quite standard. Service was efficient if not particularly friendly. After we ordered a good bottle of local wine, we then asked for tap water: the waitress screwed her face... as if it were a strange thing after which we only filled mineral water. Maybe it's unusual here, but at least they could have better explained to foreign visitors. The overall experience was good, the decor smart, but the personal interaction was indifferent.

I want you to have an evening with a colleague. Service was friendly and accommodating for English speakers. We both enjoyed the meal and service.

The asparagus season (taken very seriously in Germany! was simply on the go, so I decided to OD with a starter of the cream of the asparagus soup and a head of the ass (circle with asparagus and potatoes). This proved to be a good choice and I returned a second... time for an equally pleasant (non-Sparagus dinner).

This place is located in a vaulted cellar just a few metres from the market square. On the varied map you will find the classics of Thüringer as well as the Croatian grill and fish dishes, our dishes were delicious and attractive and cost-effective. Operation was friendly and on Zack, we are sure to see back!
