Hakuya Sushi - Arlington Ht

Cute little sushi restaurant. They have excellent lunch deals during the week. I had the lunch special with nigiri, shrimp tempura roll, and teriyaki chicken. Also was served miso soup. The nigiri was super fresh, large pieces of fish and slightly sweet rice. The shrimp tempura roll was also delicious and topped with a soy-like sauce and spicy mayo. Teriyaki chicken was hot and fresh with a couple pieces of chicken, but more cabbage and onion. Service was very prompt, since the restaurant was mostly empty. My order took probably less than 10 minutes to arrive. My total with tax tip ended up being about $20, which was a very good deal for so much fresh sushi. The restaurant did have a bit of a musty smell, but sushi was fresh.

The best sushi in the area! The lunch specials are an amazing deal! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. Staff are beyond nice!

I got Hakuya roll, and it’s some of the best most intricate flavor town experiences I’ve ever had. Salmon and yellowtail nigiri were simply supple and buttery. Eel nigiri was charred on top yet juicy and flavorful. Amazing. And sitting in a private booth just elevated the whole experience. Wow

We were walking with a friend and our kids in the park and decided that we really wanted to eat delicious food we found the first nearest restaurant on Google and went there. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff we were seated in a booth just designed for our number of people (there were four of us . They brought menus and glasses with water and ice, but at our request, our little girls were brought without ice. I highly recommend this place everything was fast, delicious.

Flavorful food with good-sized portions, attentive wait staff, and a cozy interior made it stand out as a restaurant I'll definitely be visiting again!
