Bidra med feedbackWe were unable to enjoy a drink at this restaurant as their new coffee machine had not yet been delivered. They expect it to arrive by mid-May. However, the village store nearby is worth checking out if you are in the area. They offer freshly baked bread and cakes that were delicious. The staff member was very sorry for the inconvenience of not having cafe facilities, but it was out of her control.
We stumbled upon a fantastic gem! The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing, the best we've had in Argyll during our holiday.
Our airB&B hosts at Balvicar Boathouse recommended this cafe to us, and it was well worth the drive! They had a fantastic selection of vegan options that were not only well presented, but also delicious. We even took care of some errands by purchasing postcards and stamps at the post office located inside. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be returning.
We stopped at the vegan cafe called Catch a carrot- what a find, the food was amazing and the coffee with oat milk was delicious. I would definitely recommend the cheesecake and coconut cupcake. Very friendly owner only just opened, I would definitely visit again, currently open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11.30 to 3.30 and dogs are welcome. It can be found above the post office.
Was happy to stop off at this cafe during a cycling loop starting in Oban. There's no fancy coffee machine, but the coffee from the cafetiere was still decent. We ate our excellent vegan apple-cake outside, so didn't spend much time in the cafe itself. But the cafe and two customers very were friendly, and the biodegradable food and drink containers were a good touch. I'll definitely stop off again next time I'm cycling in the area.
