Bidra med feedbackFinally I did it, I went to this old restaurant recently reopened and I would have nothing else to say except that it is EXCELLENT; but I can also add that the restaurant is beautiful, that you eat extraordinarily well, that the service is impeccable and that the Chef is really good. From appetizers to desserts it was a succession of real flavors, in some ways ancient for others slightly revisited but always with an eye to the kitchen and flavors of our grandmothers.
A charming place, with several rooms with beautiful frescoes. Friendly and professional service. Excellent dishes and characteristic of the territory. I recommend trying appetizers with black crostini with liver patè, crostini with homemade butter with anchovies and finally but not for importance fried artichokes, a delight! Very good the first, we took the cutters with porcini mushrooms and gnocchi with ragù. Excellent meat seconds and delicate tripe. I suggest you taste the local desserts, I took the tongues of cat with cream, delicious!
We entered this local intrigued by the sharp menu outside that listed dishes that refer to the true tradition of Arezzo, to the kitchen of the grandmother. They immediately welcomed us in a very friendly and familiar way and despite the room was full, with all the staff very busy, we were immediately accommodated. We went into the menu because we wanted to try a little bit of everything, from appetizers to the first ones, to finish with desserts. We were pleasantly amazed by the kitchen: Yes perceives that all dishes are made with high quality raw materials and it is understood that behind there is so much work to produce these dishes, just think that the pasta is handmade (which is now difficult to find in most restaurants). Very good fried artichokes, you understand that they are fresh and not frozen. Great selection of desserts. I count in line with what we ate, which was not a surprise since we looked out at the menu and prices. We will definitely be back!!!
Unique atmosphere!!! The staff was very nice and helpful despite the room was full, the dishes arrived without much wait and all to lick the mustache, the black crostino and the cutlini to the artichokes were delicious but with the tripe they exceeded!! A charming restaurant thanks to the frescoes, traditional dishes executed well, parrot to the exquisite artichokes, nice waiters and to the hand that made me feel at home, I look forward to returning to feel other dishes.
