Bidra med feedbackThe pizza at this restaurant isn't as good as it was under the previous owners. It is very thin and tends to get cold quickly.
I absolutely adore this pizza place, even though I live 15 miles away from it. However, on occasion, I will make the drive just to indulge in one of their delicious pizzas and enjoy it by the seaside. It is without a doubt my son's preferred takeout option. The ingredients are always fresh, so I never experience the discomfort I usually do after eating a Domino's pizza. What sets this place apart is the ability to customize every aspect of your order - whether you want extra garlic, less cheese, or more sauce, they will happily accommodate your preferences. The prices are reasonable, not overly expensive compared to other options like Domino's where a large pizza costs £17.99 for a 14-inch, whereas here you can get one for around £12.
Nothing like a Saturday Night pizza and a wee night in, but in this case the pizza was a little disappointing and a little price. Not familiar with the takeaways of Donaghadee we went with the one that's name most closely described what it sold. We didn't have a menu to hand do when we called ahead we sort of freestyled the order. We went for a 14 inch pizza and a 9 inch cheesy garlic bread and were told it would be ready to collect in 15 minutes. When I went to collect the pizzas I was a little shocked at the price, £16 for a pizza and garlic bread seemed a little expensive to me?! Once I tasted the pizza I was even more annoyed at the price. It wasn't a great pizza, really dry and not even good cold the next day. The one saving grace was the garlic bread. It was tasty and much better than the pizza. I wish I could give more than 3 stars because the staff were lovely but unfortunately the food just sold The Pizza Shop short.
I received a burnt pizza after waiting for an hour and a half. The pizza was stuck to the box and in a previous visit, I even found a hair in my pizza.
Good food
