Pizza King - Appleton

The food at Pizza King is always delicious. We have been dining here for years and enjoy their tasty pizza, gyros, and my favorite subs in the area. The environment is clean and not usually crowded. It's a great place to grab lunch or take dinner home for the family by calling in your order. They also offer the option to pre-order pizza if needed.

I went to this restaurant with a group and we reserved the private room off of the main dining area. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We ordered pepperoni pizza and vegetarian options, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We had a great time and will definitely return in the future.

What I like best with pizza king is that they are secretly local pizza shop. They make great pizza, but they also rock salads! Tap on the salad to go even if you eat it there because you get it in the larger container! You also have frozen pizza that you can grab and take home to bake.

The pizza and bread were tasty, but the service was lacking. We received our pizza with a missing piece and the server didn't mention it until we asked. She explained that they lost a piece in the oven. While she gave us a voucher as compensation, it didn't help as we were just visiting. Next time, restaurant staff should communicate better with customers in case of mistakes and work towards a resolution together. Simply offering vouchers may not always solve the problem effectively. It's important to improve communication and problem-solving skills for a better customer experience in the future.

Normally I have a great experience at Pizza King. However, today was not one of those experiences. I went around 3 pm on a Monday and did an order for a #1 American on wheat bread and toasted. About 20 minutes later, they realized they forgotten about my order and my sub was burnt. They were apologetic and upgraded my sub to a 12 , but put my sub on the wrong bread and forgot pickles. I'd understand if they were busy but I was the only customer there at the time. I'm very disappointed by my experience.
