Although there was a bit of waiting time (at the Friday evening,) my wife and I enjoyed a very nice meal. the baked alaska for dessert was a real tasty bite! well prepared drinks were great, and my wife and I had a very nice evening!
They win meade street bistro a try on my birthday dinner and the food was delicious and will come back. the fish tacos chicken pesto ranch sandwich is a must. also server danielle has made a great job. Thank you!
I'm worried about my reviews. but this place really deserves this review. the service is simply incredible. these are people who are really excited to serve them, and it shows. the antipasto plate is delicious. the new yorker strip is great. the kartoffels are absolutely amazing and our children (age 8-15) loved it too. to round it off, the ambiente is super pleasant both inside and outside. Do they please one and bring her family here, and I noticed that they can also take parties.
Wasn't our first choice of places to eat for date night, but I'm super happy we ended up here! Customer service was fantastic was seated right away by the hostess, was asked if we had reservations and we said we didn't I was a little worried we couldn't get in. It seemed decently busy with prom that night but we were able to get a table right away and we had waters promptly upon sitting down. Everyone was friendly- our server was incredibly busy running between outside tables and inside tables but she was checking in consistently and really great. The drinks were fantastic, my wife and I each tried a few different ones off the specialty drink menu, the only downside was our first round took a little bit but I think there was an error with the printer because after that everything went really smooth. The ambiance was really cool, they Had the outdoor windows open on a really nice night and it was very comfortable. Now for the food.... Oh my, the food!! I try to eat vegetarian 2 days a week, this was one of the days. I was craving pad thai so when our first choice of restaurants is closed I was a little frustrated. We went to Meade Street because it was nearby and my wife had been there for drinks with friends. They had an entire menu dedicated to vegetarian options, and off of that menu of about 10 items there was three that I really was interested in. We started off with the cheese curds with a pesto ranch dipping sauce, it was fantastic! My wife had fish tacos, 3 tacos with generous Portions of fish and then a slaw on them and a pepper aioli that was not too spicy but just the right amount of flavor and added on a side of fries that were spectacular (I know, they're fries right? But they were that good I ended up going with a vegetarian quinoa peanut sauce fried tofu edamame cabbage and carrot fish. I had a great amount of Asian flavors, with some cilantro and it was out of this world. It was vegan and gluten free as well. All in all, they were firing on all cylinders, as a chef I think all aspects of the meal were fantastic. We will be back and I'd recommend this place hands down! Great job!
