India Darbar Restaurant - Appleton

Whenever I came here in the past, the food was always delicious and the server was kind and polite. However, I was very disappointed when I had sat down and relieved my food over a week ago. I had a lamb curry with a mango Lassi and resan soup. The lamb curry had bone fragments and pieces in it and the basimati rice tasted a little like moldy sink water. Usually the meal came with fresh Naan, but they didn't serve any this time. I don't know what happened, like if the chef was having a bad day, but I don't think I'll be coming back for a while

We originally went to the store next door, but after smelling the restaurant we had to stop in. The server was very kind when we decided to order to go instead, and even though it had been over an hour by the time we did our errands and got home to eat it from when it was cooked, the food was fantastic, especially for the price and how much goat and lamb we got. Only $35 for two people and it will last us at least another meal. Comfort food for sure. We will be back when in the area.

We went there order tandoori dinner for two non veg platter but the girl took us granted without asking or giving any prior information she brought mix pakora together in one dish saying there additional extra pieces since it come under both appetizers dinner since they are charging for two food order they should have to bring in two dishes. That was first thing. Second in dinner menu they didn’t have Reshmi Kabob which we came to know after we asked where is reshmi Kabob as mentioned in your menu card hence we explained girl she was trying to pretend that, instead of that they increase the quantity of the rest of the two dishes. Which was not acceptable. They should have to follow things which is mentioned on dinner menu . The other guys realized mistakes said sorry released the charges of Reshami Kabob . When we came out of restaurant and standing out in a parking lot with my kids, the guy inside from kitchen and the girl came in the parking lot, sitting in the car and drove in front of us very fast and the guy. He pulled down window and staring at us with threatening eyes. Which was very uncomfortable shame being as restaurant industry . We definitely don’t want to go to this kind of place being as family person.

Great food!!! Got butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi! A bit pricey for what they give you but still great! Other thing is the vibe inside is a little awkward, the time I went there was no music playing and it was just super quiet. Still would go again just struck me as odd.

Authentic Indian food, delicious, biryani, and some of the best career you’ll ever have! Are usually get delivery, and it always comes with 45 minutes. I ate here once and it came out very fast! There could be more decoration, but otherwise it’s amazing!
