La Rancherita Mexican Apex

This is the go-to mexican restaurant in Apex. Me and my partner visit at least 2-3 times per month. The food is always prepared well and with lots of flavor, at times wished there was more heat . The service is friendly and helpful. Love the margarita mix they use/make.

ABSOLUTE WORST RESTAURANT OF ALL TIME!!! DO NOT GO! My friends and I went to a restaurant where we were not seated properly, and they didn’t provide us with utensils and plates. On top of that, we ordered their queso birria tacos, which were bland and dry. We decided to inform the manager about it, but they were rude. The waiter even made a joke in Spanish to the manager, who then laughed in the middle of our conversation. They gave us the receipt and hadn’t even removed the birria tacos from the bill, so we had to ask them to do so. Because we had eaten one taco, they charged us for it. The customer service was absolutely the worst, and the manager’s attitude was just the cherry on top. The food was bland and not seasoned. This was my first time experiencing such bad Mexican food.

The restaurant was excellent for years! It must have been sold and taken over with different cooks a year or so ago? Food and service has gone way down. We have experienced this several times now. Food is not good any more. Time to find some other places to go!

The best Mexican restaurant in Apex by far. I love the service and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The food is always hot and fresh! The salsa is some of the best I've had! I usually come about once a week and this place never fails to amaze me. ??
