The Coffee Club - Ao Nang

Very rude waitress! When we let her know politely that she gave us the wrong order, and asked her to take off the bill, she threatened to call the police as we had “eaten” it. By eating she means we took a bite to make sure we had been given the wrong order before asking for it to be changed or refunded. We proceeded to ask her to take the service charge off after being spoken to terribly by her, where she aggressively spoke about us in Thai and made us extremely uncomfortable for the rest of the visit and whilst we were walking out, including snatching the plates off us and whilst muttering in our ears. She was horrible : we were looking forward to eating breakfast here tomorrow as we love this type of menu but cannot imagine feeling welcomed. Over 1000 baht we spent on an order we didn’t ask for, which is a splash-out meal for us! Genuinely gutted

We were frequent visitors to this seafront coffee shop during our recent stay in Ao Nang Beach. Our flat whites were 140 Baht £3) each, there was also a 10% service charge on top. The croissants, buns and small cakes ranged from about 90 to 120 Baht £2 £2.50). The apple turn overs were rather tasty. The prices here did appear to be a tad pricey, however it was worth it for a quality cup of coffee and a tasty cake. There was a menu of other food available, we did not order any, but what we observed being served looked good and well presented. There was outdoor seating along the pavement, however we chose to sit inside in the cool, there was additional seating upstairs. At times the service was a bit slow and paying the bill did take a while.
