Le Cafe des Serres

We had perfect dinner yesterday night. Amazing food, wine, view and super friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended!

We returned to the Cafe des Serres after 4 years and found it to be as wonderful as we remembered. Perched on the side of the hill that hosts Antraïgues sur Volane, the terrace offers a wonderful view of the gorge. The food is elegant, a choice of different platters of combined flavours, based on local ingredients. We had another great evening and hope to return again one day!

This place really is a hidden gem and I can not recommend it highly enough. The cuisine is traditional Ardechoise, with all products sourced locally. It also had the best Gâteau Ardéchois I tried during my visit to Ardeche. The view from the terrace over the hills is breathtaking too. At 15 euros per person for lunch and 20 euros per person in the evening it cant be beaten on quality, friendliness and price.

Excellent table on Antraigues, away from the tumult of the square. A tasteful cuisine, made for products and the ratio of excellent prices. Not to mention a great welcome! Good!

Too bad that the info is not up to date on the Internet: it was noted open we made bcp of kms this day to find a closed sign indicates closed without further details.
