Bløm Meadworks - Ann Arbor

I had no idea I loved mead until I discovered Bløm! It has been one of my favorite places in Ann Arbor since 2009. Their offerings are truly unique, delicious, and crafted with great thought and care. The Pearl mead is refreshing yet warming, with flavors reminiscent of flowers, cuddly bees, fruits, and bubbles. The owners are dedicated to their community, creating a fantastic atmosphere both indoors and on the terrace. They host a variety of fun events, such as trivia and board game nights. The positive vibes are palpable, and their medal flips perfectly! Do yourself a favor and try a flight of meads; it will leave you feeling happy, bright, and bubbly!

For a greenhouse experience on a chilly night, this place is perfect. After the warm ambiance settled in, it was just right. I've always had a fantastic experience here. The owner is incredibly laid-back and accommodating.

I never really knew what Mead was until I visited Blom and wow, it is delicious!! There are so many unique mead flavors and also craft ciders. My favorite is the Pear Ginger cider and my husband always orders the Rhubarb mead. But recently we discovered their Switchel (non-alcoholic vinegar and honey soda, sounds weird but so yummy! and the kids LOVE this super refreshing/rehydrating drink. Nice casual picnic tables outside are perfect for hanging out after an afternoon walking around Ann Arbor.
