The Auld Surgery Tearooms - Angus

The food at this restaurant is delicious and made fresh, including their amazing home baked goods. Whether you're in the mood for a coffee and cream scone, or a lunch of soup and a panini, you will not be disappointed. Karen's carrot cake is especially amazing. The cozy and traditional atmosphere only adds to the experience, so be sure to stop by and wait for a table if needed.

Can be difficult to find as it's up a close in Kirriemuir but having found it ti's worth a visit for morning coffee.

The Auld Surgery needs some surgery. Premises shabby and down at heel. Soup was tasty, but a very paltry portion. Toasties were flabby and wet. No way worthy of a five star rating. Sorry!

The restaurant has relocated to the square in Kirriemuir and rebranded. It continues to offer exceptional food and service, making it a must-visit spot!

I recently had lunch with my daughter at this restaurant. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated promptly by a very kind and friendly lady. Our toasties were served with a side salad and delicious dressing, along with homemade coleslaw and pasta salad. Our lunch was perfect and we will definitely return and recommend this place to others!
