Saffron Indian Cuisine - Angus

Nice and friendly staff, really nice indian food. The restaurant is spacious, good for part for big groups. They have a take away to go counter.

Until recently I was very satisfied with with Saffron They were always courteous and friendly. They were more than happy to oblige with my special requests for my (which I have ordered the same for several years) However, out of the last 6 times when I placed my order it has arrived 5 times with something wrong and not always the same thing that is wrong (An example I request 2 large tubs of chilli sauce and I got 2 small tubs or 1 large) I’m only giving them 2* because they were great until recently otherwise they would have been given 1 or even zero

I had a large portion of donner meat with vindaloo sauce and really liked it. The curries are delicious, especially the specialty ones. However, sometimes they can be a bit too spicy.

First time ordering from here and will definitely be getting from here again, I got the nachos, donner hoagie and chicken pakora, the delivery came so quick that I thought the food was gonna be cold but It was piping hot and it was extremely delicious.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and a portion of peri peri chips. Quick delivery but the base of pizza was soggy and soft and the peri chips were hard in middle. Used to be a good takeaway, but went down hill. Very disappointed.
